Using PhotoLooks in Photoshop
This page talks about how to use PhotoLooks in Adobe Photoshop. PhotoLooks 2 runs as plug-in inside Photoshop, Lightroom and Aperture. PhotoLooks can also be launched as a stand-alone application.
Launch as Photoshop plug-in
When you run PhotoLooks as a plug-in inside Photoshop, it is accessed through the Filter> Magic Bullet> PhotoLooks menu. PhotoLooks works a little differently than most Photoshop plug-ins, since it launches its own interface window.
When you choose PhotoLooks from the menu, it applies to the image that you have open and selected in Photoshop.
When you use PhotoLooks inside Photoshop, the plug-in observes all of Photoshop's rules. You can create a mask in Photoshop and PhotoLooks will affect only what's inside that masked area. If you use a non-rectangular Photoshop tool (like the Lasso tool) then PhotoLooks will preview the selection as a rectangular area. But once you apply the look, it will apply only to the non-rectangular area that was selected in Photoshop.
To render your color treatment, click the Finished button at bottom right of the PhotoLooks interface.
